The White House, or 'No.10', is a beautiful Georgian house nestling in the heart of Framlingham which successfully fuses authetic Georgian architecture with luxurious comfort.
The White House offers elegant holiday accommodation, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house sleeps 8 easily and is a comfortable, well equipped family 'home from home'. The attractive gated garden is secluded and has a seating area with table and chairs and a barbeque. There is parking for three cars and a double garage.
Framlingham is an historic market town which has a good selection of cafe's, pubs and restuarants. There is a surprising selection of independent shops and a host of outlets offering local arts and crafts. Known as 'Fram' by the locals it has been voted 'Best Place to Live in England' more than once.
Framlingham is well-placed on the map for access to the best things to see and do in Suffolk. Near enough to main roads such as the A12 and A14, but far enough away and with no train station, it has remained a unique Suffolk town where a sense of community and friendliness is apparent.
The White House is in a central position in Framlingham, however you could easily walk past it due to it's secluded position. Situated within the boundaries of the town centre, it is in the Conservation Area of Framlingham and there was a Saddlery named Brackenbury's adjoining The White House in the 1920's.
